  • New cue advice

I just noticed when sorting my tip out this morning that my cue isn't even straight due to more than likely my mother putting it in the corner of my room and it falling over from time to time etc etc.

I like a fairly heavy cue and have a price range from about £40-100.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

It's right on the other end of my budget pal, I don't have that money as of yet that would be like the highest possibly I could go but it would be emptying my piggy bank for sometime

Well, it should be worth buying. The price including delivery and case. But the decision is up to you. Cheers...

I heard Riley is probably the best cues out there, a few of my pals have said this.

If Riley cue is within your price range, then go for it. I can't comment anything about it since I don't have 1.

I've had a few riley's over the years and i can confirm they are defo not the best cues about...Not for the budget you have anyway...

Not saying riley never made a tidy cue but i think that was a long time ago, i don't know if they actually do a decent cue these days tbh, most are in argos and big sports chains and mass produced to a piece of shat...

Have a looksy on the other thread that's currently going about budget cues, theres a couple in their that may suit your budget and defo be better than an argos riley...

Craftsman classic machine spliced as i suggested in the other thread. Much much much better than rileys... I'd rather play with a tree branch than every riley i've used... At least they arn't varnished
If your mates mean rileys as in the kind you get from argos then you'll get a painted cue covered in varnish.

Can you name me some other cue brands please?

I just generally can't wait to get my hands on a new cue but money is tight.

Craftsman classic, omin machine spliced, cue craft. I'd go for craftsman personally, for your hundred you could get a cue and case.
                            Then theres always second hand.
Really your budget is a little low at <100 which limits your options.
