Topic really has been done to death if you use the search....
But I am slightly confused about your budget, didn't you post in the Trevor White thread? And here you talk about value for money cues, so what exactly are you looking for?

Agree.. set a budget then it can help you narrow the range of search.

Sorry who was it then? Somebody was asking about budget cues then posted in Trevor white... Hmm oh well

Theres plenty of people around for that budget, craftsman classic machine spliced at the low end, then for the higher theres omin, mastercraft, craftsmans own range, welsh pool trading to name a few. If you search for each of these there are many threads. And they will all get you a decent cue. Just find a design you like and send an email off to the different makers asking for quotes.

Must have been late and I got confused
Not a bad deal if you don't alreay have a case and dont want anything particularly fancy in a cue.

mmhmm. was gonna get a fancy cue but now that i think about it, i think i'm leaning towards a plain black ebony one because at the end of the day, splices don't make a cue play better nor do splices make you play any better :P Also looks a bit out of place imo if you give an amazing looking cue to someone who can't string together 2 pots

Naaaaa... If you cant string 2 pots together your cue is the only saving grace

Doesnt have to be fancy, just 4 splices or Tulipwood for instance... mmmm Tulipwood

I emailed Kevin Muncaster a few weeks back regarding a price for 1 piece, plain ash & ebony cue. He said he could do it for £120.00 plus P&P

I am not sure whether his prices have increased or not, but £120.00 for a handspliced cue made to your specs is, IMO not bad at all.

Might be worth a look if you want value for your money.

that's a really good deal actually, add on a 35 quid case from maximum break and you're only 8 quid over the black prince deal. hmm
