He recommended that I contact him again at the end of March in case I am still searching for a new cue
he makes great cues! but it takes really long to wait for it now
if u place your order in the coming March you will probably get it in 2011?

maybe it's a good idea to go for mike wooldridge, tony glover or tony wilshaw?

I am looking for invest up to £400 on a new snooker cue.
I would appreciate if you could share your thoughts on your favorite cue and what would be the best investment.

Who is considered the best manufacturer? John Parris? Craftsman? Stamford? Maybe someone else?

I am looking for a 3/4 butt jointed cue.
Could someone also explain how splices play a role in picking a cue? What is important when it comes to splices?

          Thanks in advance

For your budget, Hunt & Osborne Greenplate cue should be okay. TW cue also still within this price range but you have to wait for about 6months to get new cue from TW.

Splices have little role in cue perfomance. It is just the beauty. A full black ebony of MW 3/4 cue could be your best buy.
          My cueing sucks

            i have a few TW.

best idea for you would be to read about the forum and learn a bit about cues and find out exactly what you want first.

So far I only got a response from Stamford Cuemakers and John Parris
All other makers either don't read their emails or simply ignore me.

Depending on the response I got so far, I might go with Stamford Cuemakers

if they are answering e-mails they are not making cues!

I also have one of his 3/4-butt cues which is a duplicate of my one-piece but haven't started using it as yet since it's in mid-season here and I don't want to switch until the summer off season
