Ronnie's cue isn't new, he already won Shanghai masters with Hunt & Osborne cue and it is not purple cue as you call. Cue specs: ebony butt with 4 splice of olive wood 1 piece.

Ronnie has A purple cue... Given to him by premier inn... Hence why we are calling it "the purple cue"

I dunno, but i'm guessing he gets deep into the pink with his purple 1 on occasion like..........
