yes i've noticed that wooldrige as well, but from what i've seen of the seller he seems to have alot of "good quality" cues for sale.

I think you need atleast 10 posts to pm, you could always search on here for TW's email, although im sure someone will put it up here soon. I hope that it's not a fake, for you and TW's sake. I just thought it was strange to see one for sale in Aus, and the badge did seem a little dodgy to me, but then i've never seen one in real life so i couldnt be sure.

i just recieved my Wooldrige Black Shark cue today as well so YEAH, and i didnt pay AU$800 that's for sure....

as i was saying, i really wish i'd seen this first.. any doubt and i wouldn't have bought it. here's hoping ebay/paypal fraud protection isn't bull. i'll try to get an opinion from trevor before i really crack it.

You're my new official Fake Join Man..... What do you think's more likely? They are real cues with new/replaced joins or just fake cues? I don't know much about making a cue but it would seem fairly easy to me to replace badges. Arn't they just glued in, and from what i remember from my son's blocks...... Round things go in the Round holes.

I can understand what you are trying to say. I know dick all about boats but show me picture of an anchor and i 100% can tell you if the boats going fishing in sand or rocks (unless they know dick about anchors ). Show me a picture of a boat and im like ahhhh yeah might be a good boat.... i don't know.... maby you should email the bloke that made it.

Im sure you will find out eventually, i would just keep in contact with the person you brought it off. See if you can get some details off him. ie where he got it, history of the cue, maby even an origional invoice. Although if he can fake a cue it's not hard to scan and copy $100 notes.

Trevor just replied to my email and said he has no doubts about the cue whatsoever, so I guess I'm in luck.. I'm absolutely rapt.

The amazing part? How quick and in-depth Trevor's response was to someone not even looking to buy a cue off him. Without a doubt one of the classiest acts I've ever encountered, if I had the money I'd buy 10 cues off him.
