I know people in the Ukraine play cuesports! I met a guy from Ukraine at an expo in Germany who asked me to have a cue made with the 1Klik cue joint made for him by one of my customers, it was 1.8m long for Pyramid, which he was very happy with.
Do you have a list of cuemakers from Ukraine, I could contact?
What was that guy's name??

There was a fellow in Canada called Ron Mason who used to make triangular pool cue shafts. He is no longer doing that I believe. I have never tried it. It was quite a few years back but if memory serves me correctly, he said the cue would glide better in one's bridge hand with a triangular shape. I have not seen it live, but from the pictures that I saw--and I have to admit it was a long time ago and I could be wrong--the shape was quite extreme. I cannot remember much details though.
My old man just bought one of these as a Christmas present to himself. Hasn't been used in anger yet but it's an odd looking/feeling thing and whippy as f. I'll see if I can get a shot of it tonight
