          Hi Boys
I think that talisman tip is full of rubbish and it is not design for the snooker game. You cannot bid Elk-master tip, all pros play with elk tip. Recent comments that Ronnie plays with talisman is rubbish. i have seen him at wembley arena 4 times this year and he played with elk-master tip as well as john Higgins. Mike wooldridge supper tip is just to make money. OK all 5 tips in the pack almost the same shape but they cost £10 for the set of 5. I recommend you buying 11mm elk tip and cut to the size of your ferrule. Set of 50 elk tips will cost you the same money you pay for the set of 5 wooldridge supper tip.
And remember elk-master tip has been always the tip you can trust.

So you've decided all pros use elkmasters because the tip was? Blue?
All pros don't play with elk tips, ADR has stated (In ADR we trust should be TSF motto don't you think?) that pros play with mikes tips, talisman (Steve Davis in particular I believe uses talisman), new granite tips from stu at greenbaize, etc.

If it's not because of making some money then Mike will not probably selling his Supertips. Thats the principe in any business. Make profit.

Anyway, I myself have a pack of MW Super Laminated tips.

Based on such positive feedback I am going to try the super tips. As far as cost goes
they do seem expensive but compared to what people pay and put into the butt of the
cue, types of wood, they then are not really expensive. And as others have already
said which is the most important part of the cue the butt or the tip.
Thanks for the feedback, very helpfull

ChatLag, I'd never heard the thing about Talisman 11mm being softer than 10mm, that's pretty interesting. I'll try that out one day.

Still, seems like Wooldridge tips are the ones.
