Yeh I assume mine was the first attempt, the butt splicings good but the shaft ones are a little dodgy. Purely cosmetic things I assume he saved his nicest looking shaft and made sure he got everything perfect this time then stuck his badge on it.

Yea that's the thinking i had when i bought a mastercraft off ebay for 120 quid (came with a lot of stuff so i saved 100 quid in total - cue craft case, mini butt, telescopic extension and cue of course - the cue costs 125 as it is ) a splice was clearly uneven in the pic but if the cue plays well, **** it.

Unless something is amiss........... but then i can just contact ebay

The cue is perfectly straight and plays well but it's too light for me. Also it's varnished and I do get sweaty hands so am forever wiping it. I play a lot of 8 ball and starting to play more snooker and currently play with a 9.5 mm tip.

Ideally I'd like a Parris cue but i can't justify that sort of money just yet so I'm looking to spend up to £200 and was wondering what the best value for money would be.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

          Cheers, Scott.
          Hi Scott.

E-mail me your ideal specs e.g. weight, length, tip size, jointing e.g. 3/4 or 2 piece centre split or full one piece and any extensions you require. With your budget I can probably supply you a nice 3/4 cue, telescopic ext and case all in. I supply Cue Craft cues and cases.

The cue pictured below is four piece machine spliced set with leatherette case, mini-butt and long ext. 17 - 17.5 oz @ £100!! Great value for a UK manufactured cue. - email me to cueist@genie.co.uk, cheers, Dave, Snookerpoolman:snooker:
