  • Glue for ferrules?

    Hi ,

I am quite desparate to know what glue is best for ferrule please? My ferrule came loose and i need some glues urgently for my match this week, can anyone advise, very much appreciated., I wanted to try superglue but read that its not good for the wood?

    Many thanks again

Hi, i had a ferrule come loose on one of my old cues and i just used whatever i had to hand at the time which was Tweetens 10 minutes tip cement, says it works well on wood, metal, leather etc..
Had no problems but i don't know if i was right in using it!!

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be able to answer soon!!

    Good luck!

    Ally

Araldite. Perfect and wont come off. Either that or Evostik (But try to get the trade version.

I have done loads of ferrules and just recently found GORRILA GLUE.
It swells when drying and really grips the ferrule so it wont come loose.
This is the best i have used and I've tried loads of glues.
