  • Shipping to Shanghai????

    Hi,

I have had a quote from DHL of just over £90 to ship a 1 piece cue to Shanghai, is this about right or should it be cheaper??

It seems expensive to me but Ihave never shipped anything abroad before.
Just because its old, doesn't mean its worth a fortune!!

    Just checked interparcel,

    (2KG) 152cm x 6cm x 6cm to China is approx £34.00

    http://www.interparcel.com/

thats with the standard £50.00 coverage on the cue and 5% membership discount, easy enough to become a member though

I used to state the length as 60cm because i thought they were asking for inches ....always got delivered though.

          courier cost

Try www.parcelfilght.co.uk i use them to send 1 piece cases quite often to shanghai and it is usually £36.99
if your insuring the cue for a large amount this may be why the DHL price is so high!
PS if sent through parcelflight it will be collected and delivered by DHL anyway, just at half the price.

Thank you all for your help.

Parcel flight looks the cheapest but will have to ring to get the final price as need £500 insurance.
