Instead of reworking on the butt, I donated it to a young player met at a club. Seen him a couple times using rack cues. He's just a student and no money to buy a good cue. My cue is good enough for him to practice, said UT. Simply the butt work is not that finely crafted. But much much better than any rack cue, or close to UT's ready-made that I have seen. Maple shaft. The kid likes it lot. He came with his sister, and now you know why I gave the cue to him I may make cues as a passion somedays. Learned a lot from both UT and Omin. Just need more 'practicing hours'.
That's very generous of you Unclevit (plus his "sister" factor is another reason for you gave away your own made cue to that kid ). Keep it up boss. I believe you can make a top quality cue yourself, someday.

    Cheers.

            Unclevit,

The Omin cues look awesome. Reminds me of Hyena or some sort of exotic tiger skin lol.

My cue pic which is taken by unclevit is post at: http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...fswt30&page=98

I have tested out the cue. A simple review of my UT cue here. The feel...after connected the joint give you 1 pc feel. Around the joint probably 2 inches away both the butt and the shaft has hidden power. Its just my feel....strange. Never feel a cue like this before. The balance and weight distribution of this cue is excellant...cannot compare with my previous cue. It just very good. even my friend can say UT cue is better. UT deserves it.

Potting ball...try out various of shot..hmm...this cue is powerful than my previous 18oz. So you dont have to use much power of it. You can felt it deliver just good. For summary, Just like UT and unclevit said to brendan147...good for long pot and screw. Yes it is. you can see your long pot just go into the pocker nicely if you dun miss out the angle. Very nice. About screw...more than excellant. If you cannot screw with housecue...well This UT cue just can screw. Lol. I made 1 deep screw shot with 3 quater ball angle around black spot. Hey man the cueball just bend the curve like seen in TV. I never perform this before and never if you using housecue. This screw shot catch the eyes of the surrounding players...well forgive me i am still not the pro yet. Recently i am in my low performance. Hope to improve my game later days. The cue just deliver power balance. Nice potting and a nice playing cue. Just like Unclevit say...yeah its medium stiff.

Great Job UT and UncleVit. For me this is absolutely a pro and tournament cue. Just the person@me is not a pro. Lol...

very nice! =] sounds impressive. its the same with my UT cue. just excelent playing cue all round. a lot of people pick it up, some say its whippy, some say its really stiff, some hav a hit and cant believe i got it for under 200 pounds. its ridiculous the quality and craftsmanship for that price. very sad that UT is stopping to be honest. because, if he continues to make cues, i would buy 1 or 2 cues different design every year. just to collect and hav cues that are to my design :P haha

Yes, UT cue is indeed value for money.

I have had custom made about 3 cue from UT since he started. I had even owned the very first cue which he had made out of Thailand.
His creation differ from cue to cue, but his workmanship is definitely 1st class.

I have since sold 2 of his cue and i m currently using his maple cue as my replacement for my last John Parris classic cue which i have regretfully sold. But once i have cues back from Dan Shelton, i will be selling my UT cue set. I dun wanna keep a good playing cue in the storeroom instead of letting another player to fulfill a snooker cue dream.

For those who maybe interested in a UT maple cue set (at least 3weeks later, depending on the situation), i will gladly sell it to him. Feel free to email me willysellcue@yahoo.com for more information.
