Simply put, e-mail Mike and ask him, and pray that he will reply you ASAP.

    Good luck.
I think, why not let me program? problem in the absence of registration))

E-mail Mike and ask him. And be patient. Registration for his online shop could take 1 day or 2 for approval. Plus, today is Friday, so maybe you have to wait until next week.

Just a little higher, I asked about the briar, and this wood is also superficially similar to thuja

Brendan...not every burl is Thuya lol

Just for you, this is Thuya Burl. Easy to remember....its golden and spotty.

The wood in the 1st picture is Red Amboyna Burl....and a really nice piece too.

Briar burl is mainly used for making pipes for smoking as its tolerance to heat is high.

Briar occasionally used for inlay cues. Not only for the pipes. Example Longoni use in its cues for the pool.

LOL...thanks for the correction Dan...my knowledge about exotic wood is not that good anyway...

How the 50% (more or less) deposit on July? Can you accept it that way? I'm talking about my cue project with you per our discussion last year. PM me about this matter. Thanks.

                        Cheers.

Edit: Does burl wood suitable to be used as the cue's main butt?

Lovely peice of amboyna you have there Dan, One of my most favourite woods, but i'm more partial to something a little darker in colour.
