exactly, its one thing to have a really flashy butt, and be as outrageous as u want, but why start messin around with the colour of ya shaft? the ash/maple looks traditional, like a snooker cue should!

imo, it's crap. maybe i'm the only one who thinks so...

but i'm sure lots of people who see ronnie with a purple cue will go and buy one, so it'll serve it's purpose nicely.
Sorry Mike I thought you ment all parris cues. I agree the purple cue is just good for the skip.

The Purple cue was commissioned through Ronnie’s agent by Premier Inn for a photo shoot with Ronnie. It was for a promotion they were running during the Masters. I don’t think it was ever going to be used in a tournament even if premier Inn hoped it would be. It was just a bit of fun and hype for Premier Inn. But it was nice to be asked to be involved, a bit like the jungle cue I did for Jimmy.

oh ok, awesome! hey john, i know this maybe asking for a bit of your time, but i was wondering if you could spare a few minutes and tell me a bit about your history, and how you got into making cues. I am friends with a very old snooker player and coach, goes by the name of Bruce Mcphee. He owns a 23 (made in 87, or 86) yr old Parris cue that he told me was Made by you, just for him. Also what year did you really take off in the world of cue making? =] ive looked all over and cant find much information on you, or your history. cheers! keep up the awesome work

i will definitely love to know a little bit more history about John Parris in his cue making career.

Pardon me for i am a big John Parris fan. I grew up in the era whereby he is the most famous cue maker. Without doubt, i played my best with one.

Tell us about your history & when will your new website be up & running.

NO! absolutely not. i just saw a purple cue and thought 'f*cking sh*t!'

but at least its nice to know it is in fact a 'real' cue just sprayed up to suit the sponsors.

it's still sh*t though. purple cue? what next? pink nameplates with silver writing?

                        yikes!
