I got a new cue on order form another que maker. But I think I'll get another JP soon look forward to the WS. Will John be putting prices on for cue repairs and alterations?

      Cues are all psychological.

      Yes there are better cues.

The best cue makers' cues will all play well.

I don't think you can say JP's are better than MW or TW cues.

I personally go for what looks the best to you. Feel of the cue is in the mind.

If cues made such a difference then we'd all be Ronnies. What makes him so good? Certainly not his cue because he changes them almost as often as he changes which hand he plays with.

if i have learnt anything over the last few months, its that there is no "best" cue maker.
all of the top guys, JP MW TW H&O etc etc, can all make absolutely superb cues. Im sure that all of them have at some point also made a cue that wasnt great, nobody is perfect.
I have a JP cue, and I love it, yet my new cue isnt being made by John. If im honest, it was a price issue, not that John was too expensive, but that someone else is making the same thing A LOT cheaper.
Moral of this story, yes JP is a great cue maker, but he isnt the only one.
I dont think I have owned my last cue from John yet, im only 25, got plenty of time to get more in future lol

lucky you never heard what i said when i first saw it!

imo, it's crap. maybe i'm the only one who thinks so...

but i'm sure lots of people who see ronnie with a purple cue will go and buy one, so it'll serve it's purpose nicely.

i think mikes website is the most user friendly, its very easy to browse for different products and buy them at once through a secure gateway, rather than giving the card details onto the parris website, keep waiting till they charge the card and pray to God that its not misused.

I spent most of my time between Christmas and new year trying to get the colour the same as the Premier Inn Purple.
