umm elk's are pretty inconsistent these days. meaning, if u put one on n liked it, chances r ur next one wont feel the same. id say, order some MW tips in. they feel nice. and are consistent! thats a major factor on improving your game =]

I switched from Elks to MW supertip.
Since retipping it 2 weeks ago, had 4 forties and a 65 last night, its been playing really well. Maybe just a psychological boost on my behalf, but i do love the MW tips!

I would recommend blue diamond.. talisman .. or Omin.
Currently using Omin and it plays very well

Really ?? Didn't experience that before. But it was quite popular around my place and many player use it. I prefer tip that's harder. that's why switch to Omin. talisman is next on my list for me to try out.
                    How bout Kamui's tip ?
                    rating?

Talisman Tips are good as well, I swear by mine. They are the best tips I've ever played with.

I've tried Mike's as well, and I rate them as well

Not sure whether that is new or old. Maybe they were lucky to have more good ones in a box.
Price for snooker stuff increase over the years.
Yeah, has been quiet last few days.. You ever try it ?

For those who prefers a more consistent yet cheaper leather tip, i will highly recommend "mastercue" tip.
It is one of the best leather tip i have played with, the density of the tips are relatively consistent, price is same as a BD or EM (Locally not sure elsewhere) only SGD$2 each.

For those who had the chance to use O'min "red" leather tip, i would rate it same as the MC tip but with that price of the O'min, i can buy 5 MC instead.

As for those who feel that quality can never be compromised by price, i will highly recommend Kamui 8 M/S or M or Moori S.
Kamui 8 is 8 layered tip specially designed for the usage of snooker game player who prefers hardness & consistency & those do not wanna split the 13 layer (normal Kamui pool tip) into 2 pcs to compromise the tip thickness in-order to save cost. Price of the Kamui 8 is almost the same as tailsman but plays so much better IMO.

When i heard about tailsman, i thou that i have found a replacement for my kamui or moori tip. During installation of M & H(in diff occasion), the leather is soft & easily cut off compared to kamui & moori. I also feel that tailsman does not provide the spin & ease of control as compared to the kamui & moori.

That is just some of the tips i have tried.
You will have to try it, in-order to understand it.
