thats exactly my point. people forget the reality of it, and that is, that they are just expensive sticks used to poke balls around a table. you can get cues made from ANYWHERE that feel great. to be honest, having a cue with NO badge on it, just points out how moronic people are. ive had a few Pro's pick up my cue, had a feel, hav a hit, and are overwhelmed with how well balanced and good it feels. ive also had complete moronic amateurs pick it up, look at it, and tell me "you got ripped off if you paid more than 80 bux for it" thinking, just because it uses Omin Airlock joints, that it is a cheap replica from china. having said that, it just comes down to how it feels FOR YOU. and thats where my personal experience comes in and i say, ive played with a handful of english cues, and so far have not been overly impressed. sure, they look pretty at times, with their jet black ebony, but its a waste of wood, if the cue itself doesnt play that well and isnt finished off well. considering the amount of cues Omin produce a year, their overall quality and control of it is fantastic value for money. 1Lawyer, try thinking outside the box for a change, and then maybe one day stepping out of it.
