Emailing Mike Woolridge.

I e-mailed Mike last Wednesday about a cue but have not heard back yet. What is his normal reply time? I don't want to pester him with lots of emails as I know he is very busy. Just not sure when to try again.

i know when i got a cue from him last year he used to email me back with answers to my questions withing a couple of days. That was before his VCM though, so maby he's snowed under. Maby he's away for a bit. Someone else might know the exact answer, but usually a couple of days.(MAX)

E-mail him again.you've waited more than long enough. Mike is usually very quick to respond. Your e-mail may have got lost or buried.

Gem What cue are you after? Do you know what Mike's delivery dates are like now? I'd like a new cue but being an impatient sod I don't want to wait for ages. It's not long till I'll be down at the Crucible and I was thinking of popping in to Craftsman and trying a few out.

If your going down to the Crucible don't forget to call into Martin Chesworth's shop... he actually stocks Mike Wooldridges cues!!

considering someone recently said he was in the shop and got the impression martin did not like me. surely not, what is there not to like?

mind you, he could have been sulking cos he's been asking for cues over the past year or so and i simply have not been able to do it.

he called just the other day actually. pleading for stock in time for the world championships. i said 'f*ck off martin, after what i heard you been saying? you sssslllaaaaagggg!'

not really. i said 'wrong number'. and put the phone down.

meh! of course i didnt do that either. i said 'i'll try'.

so, there MAY be some of my new stuff at martin's shop. and there may not.

depends if i hang myself first cos of this bleedin' virtual cue maker...

I'm looking to get one of Mike's custom cues. I think the time is around 2-3 months for the custom ones and a couple of weeks for the shafk models.
All the top cuemakers seem to make very good cues but I really like the whole feel and look of Mike's website.
He comes across as a guy that is passionate about his business and there are a lot of nice touches on there, especially the moving tribute to his late Grandfather.
This is someone that I would be more than happy to deal with.
The contact by email with Mike only backs this up.
