Hello. I'm a new snooker player and I want my own snooker cue. So can someone recommend me a good snooker cue for my budget which is about £30?

If I were you I would wait until I saved about £120 and then search the forum for recommendations . Craftsman , Mastercraft , Mastercue , omin , UT , Peardon all seem to have positive reviews in that price bracket .
You may be lucky and find something on ebay , or second hand from members here .
Do you know what specs you want .

I started playing at the middle of February this year. I play about 5 times a week (including weekends) I spend about 2-4 hours at my local snooker club. I havn't really been keeping score of my maximum break at the moment. I am improving my game.

You wont get a quality cue for £40 i,m afraid mate , unless youre very lucky on ebay .
When you here people referring to specs they mean the weight , length , ferule size , and the more experienced players usually know what butt size they like , and the balance point .
Is there anywhere near you that you can go and try a few cues out . Thats the only way of telling what specs you feel comfortable with , if not then I would go for something around 18 oz , with a 9.5-10 mm ferrule . Thats around the average .
