  • New cue John Parris, Hunt & Osbourne or Mike Wooldridge?

What would you suggest I do?

Buy a Parris cue you can feel and test out; or a Wooldridge you have to wait until the post arrives, is it then too late do you wish you had tried a cue out somewhere else?

What do the Wooldridge owners think?

My heart says Wooldridge but my logical side say Parris or H&S

    Help please.

Why does it have to be one of the 3 cue makers that you have mentioned ? Why dont you try to find some where/one that sells good cues and also has a table that you can try..before you buy.
Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.

If I was spending serious money then I would always go where I could try a out a range of cues if possible , having a cue you feel comfortable with is half the battle . You shoul,d,nt then have second thought as to whether you should have gone for something else .

Ther,es verry little difference in terms of quality between the top cuemakers , whether they make you a cue that suits you is pot luck , what suits one may not suit another .

Some people try and find that cue for years whilst others may find it first time .

One advantage which ever one you decide to buy , should it not suit you and you decide to sell , you,ll get your money back , and can then look again .

i was in ur exact situation, looking at the exact same 3 cue makers...
I went to JP, placed an order for an Ultimate, £680...
3 days later i got in touch with TW who is making me the same thing for ALOT less!
Needless to say i got my deposit back from JP.
if you can wait, go with TW

                        unused

problem is - you need to play with a cue in the first place to see if it's good for you. So essentially in terms of finding the right cue, the 100% money back guarantee is none existent

lol - cues are not really a logical thing!

So what if he can repair or replace another cue without any charges?
Do not forget that you will still have to foot for the 2 way postages....
I got a few local friends who have had similar problem...
For 2 way postage from singapore to MW easily ard 100 pound, do not forget abt the custom taxes etc....

As far as I concern finabb (the thread starter) is from UK so posting issue isn't a big deal for him (ahaahh....don't forget that MW is also from UK too)? Plus MW 100% money back guarantee is much wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....better than nothing to offer at all.

I believe by offering such assurance, MW will always make sure keep his quality @ top notch. Does that make any sense to you now?

We are here to help finabb make his decision. Not to argue.

                              Cheers.
