John Higgins Cue Maker is Another Option

Being from the North, I'm not sure how many will be aware that North West Cues are and have been making cues for many of the worlds leading players for many years now.

If they're good enough for John Higgins ...

Kevin (from NW Cues) is also a fine cue doctor and has carried out many a lifesaving opertation on mine and many other I know.

Their quality is not in question and their price is much more affordable.

You can see soem of those still available at www.abcsnooker.co.uk under NW Cues. The other good thign is that the cue you see is the cue you get. Not that they last very long though.

it was nearly finished at 3am this morning. but then i found something else.

should be done tonight so fingers crossed it'll be working by tomorrow.

        probably won't though...

Thanks all, couldn't wait for the Wooldridge VCM to be up-and-running, so went to John Parris yesterday i got myself a cue. Nice to be greeted by John himself (after calling him Mike, yes i am an idiot) we had a good un-hurried chat about the best cue for me.The phone must of rang 10 times but not once did he go to answer it which i thought was good, well for me anyway.
I feel very happy about my choice of cue maker but whoever made your cue if you are happy with it that's all that matters.

                  Cue Choice

Chesworth at Sheffield has a table,in the shop, therefore you can try before you buy.He stocks a range of cues(see website) and also crafts cues to your specs.Craftsman has a snooker and an English table in the shop ditto try before you buy and hand built by very good and friendly staff. If possible try before you buy should be your best option but dont forget craftsmen like Mike offer playing guarantee. If the cue you order is not quite right he will do his best to rectify. Not often called on to do it though.
