  • What to look for when buying a cue

I'm gonna get a new cue for my birthday in June as the current cue I play with I got for Christmas about 4 years ago and cos around £25! Now as I'm playing more and more, I feel it's about time I get a decent cue.

Now I know little about cues, so I'm looking for some advice on what to look for really. What price do "good cues" generally start at? The budget for the cue will be around the £100 mark.

So any pointers would be good, along with recommendations.

I would say your best options are either Mastercraft or Craftsman cues, both of which have good websites to browse at.
If your on a budget, I would advise getting a plain ebony cue as all the fancy designs really bump the price up and dont make the cue play any better.

Is that 100 for the cue only or does it have to come with a case?
