a perfect cue for me is one that improves my game mate. Looks are secondary. Can't fault the cue makers though. They do make terrific cues.

What about Robin Cues or Kevin at North West. Also when it comes to value,Craftsman at Kippax. Not everyone can spend hundreds on a cue so places like Craftsman or even Peradon are worth a shout for a novice.Dont forget Maguirre went to Craftsman,so therfore must be good enough for pro circuit without robbing a bank.

There are lots of great cue makers out there.
Mike is definitely a master, builds excellent top notch cues.
                        Thanks for the pictures.

To be honest my Master Cue Pyragon bought from Craftsman Cues is definitely not "top notch". The splicing is good and the woods used are nice. But the splicing on the shaft side (it's a 3/4 cue) doesn't match the splicing on the butt side - it isn't even the same colour! Now after 3 years (being kept in a case ALL the time) it has developed a slight bend in the shaft! I personally will be looking elsewhere for my next cue.
