loose ferrule

Just found that my ferrule is loosen and i can turn it by fingers. What bad effects will there be during my game if i do not fix it now? Since i am in the middle of a tournament i do not want to fix it now

Not much you can do in the middle of a tournament except take off the tip, take off the ferrule and put some really good epoxy cement in there.

Put the ferrule back on and let the epoxy set and then replace the tip. But not sure if you have the time to do all that between matches.

Once you're done you will have to go to a good cue doctor and have him replace the ferrule, but be warned as he might have to shorten the cue by a 1/4' to 1/2'' depending on how bad it is
