You could maybe look for a peradon on ebay too. They are usually OK and they carry quite a large range so there will be one to suit most people.

If you want Peradon cues then come to me!!! I own Billiards Boutique, I have been trading now for just over two years, I have sold many snooker cues by many different manufacturers but I always come back to Peradon for quality, efficiency and service. I even play with one now, I use the Edwardian and it is just the right feel for me.

If you keep the shaft clean it will remain smooth for the majority of it's playing life, all they use as a finish is a very light wax.

Any price on a Peradon you see on eBay ask me if I will match the price, I may even beat it!!!

All of our Peradon cues are 15% marked prices until 31st August.

I have sent two out to Australia in the last week.

My personal opinion of the BCE, Riley cues is that they are fine for someone new to the game and do offer good value for money. However the materials used are not as of high quality as Peradon and you can buy a Peradon for the same cost as the BCE/Riley cues. I know what I would have anyday of the week.

Nice website The Teach wouldn't mind purchasing something down the track, but the delivery is a killer from the UK.

Dezza if your after a quality cue, have a look at Peter Hanley's cues, he's from Sydney and a lot of people having nothing but praise for the quality he outputs.

I use a custom Wooldridge cue.

                      buying a cue

I know what you are going through, Im from australia as well and I took a long time finding a cue on the net, its hard when you cant try before buy,for that reason alone you have been given great advice in buying a known brand. Its a lot of money but a worthwhile investment, just save and buy my friend and you will not regret.
