I think you can get a new one at a lesser price than that from omin website
You can also get a custom one made to your specs at almost the same price

Personally I would suggest to get one made to your specs if you are going to spend 200

And it,s only 8.3 mm which for someone who is not used to playing with such a small tip will feel uncomfortable . This cue has been knocking about on ebay for a while now ,not saying its not a nice cue but i think its over priced .

Looking at your highest break your a decent player , what cue have you got now , what specs are you used to .

He has mentiooned that he plays pools so I am guessing 8.3 may be ok for him
But personally not worth buying for the price when you can get a new one at the same price or cheaper than that

Its understandable ive been through it
But please take my advice and dont rush into it.
Take your time do your research play witha few different cues and see what you like/not like. It will be worth the wait and you wont end up with a cue you dont like

I suggest you speak to ADR147 on the forums to see if he has some cues with your specs and budget
He can guide you well in your hunt for a cue

Id also suggest you speak to mastercraft and see if they have anything in stock. They are decent cues and well withing budget ( 150-250 )

If you have a little more budget ( 250- 350 ) you can check out john parris cues

And if you have budget ( 350 - 600 )+ time then you can go for trevor white or MW
They're the best in business to be honest

I have a TW one myself and trust me its best cue ive ever played with

Anyways the above mentioned cue makers make pool cues too and might be a wee bit cheaper than snooker cues

Why dont you look for something with the same specs as your friends cue . It wont play the same but should feel comfortable in your hand .

As to what to go for , with your budget , mastercraft , craftsman , mastercue , omin ut , and M W shark are probably the best cues and the most recommemded on here .
