Yes Izzyfcuk, first "Hunt & O'Byrne", then later "Will Hunt", then Robert Osbourne joined Will at his workshop. Soon after "Hunt & Osbourne", and I know there are a few "Robert Osbourne" cues out there also.

Will joined Robert at his workshop . There are more than a few Robert Osborne cues out there as well .
They make exceptional cues together .
Thanks Neil, funny you say that, as I remember going with a friend to a workshop in London, to speak to Will, and maybe buy a cue for a friend. When his shop at the Elephant and Castle shopping centre went bump, I had a couple of cues for sale in there, and had thought I had lost them for good.
A few years later, I noticed in a snooker magazine, that Will was back in action. After calling him, he explained to me that he had problems at the old shop, and that he had managed to contact all the people he owed cues to, bar just a few, and had sorted them all out with cues. He invited me to his worshop in London, and when I got there I thought I had the wrong place, as they were making large bedroom furniture. I asked a workman, and he said yes, he's through at the other end of the floor. Sure enough there was Will, and what I seem to remember was a tallish hippy looking type guy, working on a lathe. I'm sure he introduced him as Robert, and said that it was his first day, and he was giving him a kind of trial of a sort. I suppose by chance that it could have been another Robert, who knows.
Anyway, Will gave me the pic of all the cues he had on display, and I settled on a cracking old handmade cue, a customer had left there to sell. My friend bought a Will Hunt number 121 the same day, and he gave him a massive discount too. Reduced it from £350 to just £250 for cash. He was even nice enough to let us try the cues out, on a lovely full size table in the back room, which I think was upstairs, if my memory serves me right.
Will Hunt is a genuine top bloke, and dispite the problems he had with creditors and loosing his company, took care of me and my friend proper!

Lovely story and good of you to share that Potter.
Some have left the impression here and about that Will just took a flyer and those who had cues with him
were left holding nothing but a big bag of hurt.
Thanks for setting the record straight!
Everyone should share their true sories and experiences here.
I started a thread for that some time ago and it just got lost in the shuffle...
like a lot of these memories will unless shared.
That would be sad.
Robert then set up on his own from a small workshop in Surbiton , Surrey .Then from there he moved to Tooting [ where he is now ] .From there he resumed his partnership with Will . You are right they are top blokes . Always good to go down there , even if it is only getting a tip put on . Always have a great chat with them . Dominic Dale was in there a couple of weeks ago collecting a cue and last time i was there they were making a cue for Graeme Dott and Stephen Maguire .
Thanks for everyone~
It is too long to wait a blackplate, and now it stop to order.
So, now I want to find a old one.
Who have a Blackplate can add me :coffeesalsa@hotmail.com~
Hello and thank you for your enquiry. At this present time we are not taking any orders for Ash Black Plate cues as we have a very large waiting list of over one year . As you have not requested any arrow specification we suggest a Green plate cue may be suitable for you. Please see attached document explaining more. Should you feel a Green Plate cue would be appropriate I would be happy to send you a no obligation quote and our payment options.
Regards
Charles

Hi Mike, I have just checked the date on some data on my old laptop, and it suggests it was around July and August of 2000, when we went to the workshop.
I always try to work the years out in terms of past girlfriends, so sometimes it gets a bit fuzzy...lol
