I have a old H&O black plate in 1/2 joint with round butt.
It is nearing about 15yrs.
IT is model after Stephen Henry famous conosauer design or JP manock.
Will be selling it for 800pound with a leather case.

Hunt & Osborne accept paypal, creditcard etc etc. Additional costs are postage & packaging ( if you cannot pop in to their showroom to pick up ).

Blackplate made to measure cues have @ 16-20 week waiting period. The wood is allowed to 'settle' at each stage of the build ( although the fact H&O are just flat out busy could be an additional reason ).

H&O have a good selection of stock cues if your preference isn't too specific to your needs.

Drop them an email, Robert Osborne is very helpful.

How do we identify whether the cue is authentic thru the joint or the badge or even the splice?

I can only say that 20 years ago I was playing snooker with some mates in a very seedy, run down snooker club.
The tables had burn marks on the rails and beer stains on the almost bald baize.
Thankfully the Philip Morris plain cigarette I was smoking cut the stench of urine wafting out from the bathroom.
Its door leaned against the wall next to it. And next to the door on the wall, blood stains.
In walked a guy with his cue case and ball case. He was quite ordinary looking and I wouldn't have noticed him
except for the halo. Glowing above him. I thought, "Jesus!".
I rubbed my eyes and watched as he unpacked his stuff then walked over to the bar counter to order a drink.
The halo stayed over his stuff!
I walked over as he returned, introduced myself and asked what kind of cue was that...

Last i heard,

First - Hunt and o'bryne....then that stopped and

Second - Hunt started making cues on his own but his back is giving him problems.....Robert osborned who had worked for Hunt and o'bryne previously started making cues himself...

Till date - Hunt + Robert = Current name

Yes Izzyfcuk, first "Hunt & O'Byrne", then later "Will Hunt", then Robert Osbourne joined Will at his workshop. Soon after "Hunt & Osbourne", and I know there are a few "Robert Osbourne" cues out there also.
