  • Trip to Asia - any cuemakers to check?

So im traveling to: Singapore, phuket, Bankok and pattaya.
I would like to check if there are any cuemakers shops anywhere close of those destinations. Slight deviation doesnt matter.

Where is this Unclevit? Or MAstecue? Addresses?

    Anyone know?

There are no cue makers in Singapore but if you are interested in getting yourself with some old obyrne, i might be able to show u 1-2 of them. There are also quite a few old JP cue such as ultimate & paragon floating ard.

For address you can get from their website.
      You can Pm unclevit.

Dont have a slightest interest towards JP cues. Overrated overpriced IMO

That Omin factory would be nice. Ill concider. 60km is not much with those transportrates.

Im going on June, so hope no riots are happening anymore

Omin is about 30 Km from downtown bangkok. half hour or so by taxi depending on taxi and traffic. tuk tuks get you there much faster in traffic situations. Last time I was at Omin his top end cues was 300+ dollars. You would be able to see his range of cues on the racks but you would not be able to walk on his factory floor although you can easily see them at work there. That is out of bounds to visitors. Mastercues is very formal with a show room in more central bangkok. Can get there with sky train. Again I don't think you would be able to visit their factory floor. From the two Omin is a way more engaging character with very little push towards buying anything. Willing to impart with advice etc. Hope this helps.

When we were in Thailand in November 2007. A lot of the players bought both Omin and Mastercue cues to take back to their country.

Several people bought in bulk and shipped them back to sell.

From what I saw of them there was a very nice range of cues by Mastercue and Omin.

April 9: No problems moving around 99% of Bangkok. No riots yet, just crowds.

Consider Nachan Cues - get contact details when you're here from one of the other makers perhaps.

if u coming to P.J u can look for jh leong to try the Omins,or u can go timesquare to try the Masters.

there is no JP cues here so far.mostly thai cues
