How much do you pay on import tax on the cue? Is there a short cut to pay less? I have a cue coming to SA in the next 3-4 weeks and would like your advise.

The guy sending the cue would have to do it. Usually DHL or you courier clears those issues and they just deliver to you. Ask them to quote you with that in mind. This is the first time I am getting something delivered to me from abroad so lets see what happens and if there are any hiccups I will let you know. Usaully i picked the cue up myself, like the last time I was in thailand

Unclevit offered this a for about 180 dollars a while back on this forum. Maybe a month back. I will look for the thread. I did not like the shaft though so I asked for a new shaft. Cost a few dollars more but this is the end result. Postage was about 60 dollars aside. All told it was well worth it. Got more than I bargained for which is a good thing in this case.

Not my 1st UT cue so not as excited as the first time. I do have an idea of what to expect but yes still excited. The ash is not the same ash on my 1st two UT cues so I am waiting to test it and see how it plays. I do know that it would be a cracking shaft though as Unclevit agrees that it is a very good shaft.
