So if your paying that to have a cue with fancy spicing ets , that is perfect in every way , then i suppose its woth it . Plus it,s one of the very few thing that will not lose value .

A good chippy will cost you £100 per day so whats the difference . But a cue from the above and a few others will be a damn good cue for the money .
hmm well i might buy a new cue and put 1 of them ulimate cues on order if there a gd investment

Pity you didnt have the money now as there are some lovely cues floating about , personally i would,nt go for a J P , you can get just a nice cue from others that will still hold their price .

Are cues like the ultimate worth the money?

Well not really because a cue is a cue they are all made from wood.
Then again in comparison to what you pay for a good 9 ball cue in the States, snooker cues (even the more expensive Hunt and OZ, Wooldridge, Parris, TW) are cheap.

The resale value of cues like these JP H & OB TW cues are quite high, if you get a good one.

T White cues seem more reasonable and more sought after at the minute. Also if you don't like it you have a good chance you will make your money back.
So choice is yours mate. Do yourself a favor and ask ADR147 what he has in stock.

            You could go to kippax.

Craftsman have a large, extensive range of cues and a full size table to try them out.
They are nice people and their prices are some of the best around.:snooker:

Yeah get you ass to Craftsman play with loads of cues. Play with the second hand as well.
Take your current cue with you too. See what you like that is there. Complare weight, balance tip size.
If you don't pluck out Excalibur have a word with Dave show him your current cue. Tell what you like about it and don't like (with a bit of help from the cues you've seen) then he'll make you your own cue to spec and design.

I don't have a Craftsman but several mates have and I've been there a few times it a good laugh but amount of cues they have in varies quite a bit.
I once played pool with Dominic Dale in there

Dominic was actually good as you'd expect but wasn't really up on rules.
They can always pot snooker players so are dangerous.
You can always resort to fudging that always works

I'm getting boring in my old age.

One of my mate dishes for fun all time (did me four on row last time practced with him) so I'm just getting dirtier and dirtier.

So what tip do you think you'll stay with what you've got.
I play with a 9.25mm tip because I play snooker too with it.
My mate I've just said has a 7mm.
I think it's swings and round abouts. 8mm is as small as I think you ever need to go. I would stay at around 9mm I think. Did pick up an old cue with a 10mm tip and knock an 8 ball in first go over the summer and it made me wonder if I had it all wrong.

I like a light cue for pool.
