This has been discussed many times mucka and my preference may not agree with yours and thats where it ends . That is no indication of which is the better cue , some like brown bread some like white .

If you are here to take a short cut in finding out which is the cue brand most well liked by the members here, i think you had made a bad move.

Why dun you take your time to read thru the past threads about the likes of trevor white, MW and other available cue makers here. You maybe able to find several interesting facts for you to decide which cue maker to choose from based on their cue craftsmanship when money and time is not an issue.

                I've not seen this before.
Can't say I agree with everything mentioned.
And that green on a black background has burned a hole in my retinas

I think you get what you pay for to a point. But there is so much personal preference and so much difference between two bits of wood made to the same specs. I know I'm fussy about lots of things that probably don't really matter. I've also had cheap cues that have been better than a £100 cue I had. Having said that I think a cue from a good maker is more likely to look good, play well and last a long time. However splices don't pot balls and once you get passed a point you're paying a premium for ascetics and flashness. But if it makes you happy why not.

Both Master cuemakers IMO. The difference to me would be the finish of the cue. I have a MW cue and have had a few games with a mates TW cue and I prefer the more natural matt finish of the MW cue.
Also consider the shaft, MW takes time to pick out the right shafts for his cues i.e. not too stiff and not too whippy. Just the right feel so to speak.
I'm sure TW would do this aswell but MW has it in black and white on his website.

When you start a new thread tick off this option at the end of additional options:
                    • Yes, post a poll with this thread

and submit the new thread. You will be asked to fill in your poll later.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman
