  • Identify Cue

    Hello,

My pride and Joy (The beast from the North East as I call it) is a second hand cue I bought from a local player. :snooker:

He tells me the cue is older than I am (22). It's in perfect condition.

I've not seen much of the bloke recently and I wan't a bit of background on the cue.

Ill have to put some pics up when I get chance.

It's a simple design, much like a club cue with the plain black splicing.

The nameplate on the bottom is slightly faded but I'm pretty sure it reads "The Georgian" . But the logo doesn't appear to fit in with other Burroughes & Watts I've looked at.

Any ideas? , I'll pop some pics up this evening

I bought a new b&w georgian from John Parris' shop in about 89 for £120 or thereabouts went to get a JP and played better with that than anything else he had ,and couldn't wait for one made.Badge was like you have described

Ill post a picture up tonight buddy.

If it's similar let me know.

I would just like to know what I'm dealing with if you get me.

We be nice to know if the £40 I paid for it was worth it

Thanks alot gents. I'd never of identified the logo allthough I did recognise it. It's from around 1985. Any idea on the value of this. It's in perfect condition - 3/4 split

Not that I'll be selling it, juts interested
