Any knowledge on this cue maker?

    Hi,

From the look, it seem like some mass produced cue of inferior & inconsistant quality.

You better bet you money on a better & reputable brand cue.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

They sure want a bit of cash for their substandard cues then, don't they?

For less than 100GBP with two extensions and a case and a cue with 8 splices with 8 veneers, it is really quite cheap and you really cannot expect too much in terms of quality I reckon. As a beginner set it is probably not a bad buy. It is always a gamble because unless you can see and try the cue out you just never know. You might still be able to find one which is perfect for you though.
I agree you are probably better off to get a craftsman or a mastercraft if you want something of better quality and is not too pricey.

One thing I like to keep in mind when people slag off a new entry-level cue maker is that Craftsman and Cue Craft were almost certainly slagged off in their infancy. Yet, today, folks routinely recommend them for a nice entry-level cue.

Has anyone here actually demoed or owned a Pro Snooker cue? Perhaps they are rubbish, but one never knows for sure until actually playing with the cue.
