That long joint with the long thread is his standard.
Why not leaving it screwed together and in your 1pc case?
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

Mate of mine has a lovely Glover one piece. Four huge splices of snakewood polished to perfection.

Hey hotpot how you dong http://www.cues-glover.co.uk here is a link to his web site you can get a rough idea to be honest though anyone of the top cuemakers are all as good as each other it is down to personal preference. I bought a Glover as a friend had tried it loved it and never lookeb back. The feel and power I can generate in conjunction with the right tip is awsome.

I agree with much that has already been said & based on the ones i've had & seen Tony's Cues are excellent, they tend to have that old cue look & feel but with all the modern benefits & its almost like you've used it for years pretty much straight away.

The last I had made was a Burwat Champion Replica & that was top drawer the most authentic replica i've seen, lovely build quality, nice taper & the most important thing it was a great playing cue.

However specific you are, you get exactly what you ask for whether he's making you a cue or doing a repair you know it will be right, which gives confidence.

So I don't think you'll go far wrong

I own a Glover, it was custom made for a pro and basically too short and slim for me but the grain is all even and it deliver one heck of a power. I've heard from a cuemaker that all his fellow cuemakers in the business rate Glover as the best.

how do you rate a tony wilshaw cue, compared to glover? surely they are good cues to begin with.
