Just fitted one of the above and have what maybe a stupid question.

    1) is it ok to trim the edges down. The edges seem to be sealed and dont want to risk the layers splitting.

    TIA lads

Try the search button . Talisman tips are slightly different to normal tips in the way they are trimmed , from what i remember . Think you don't turn cue over as you may seperate layers when trimmimg .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

It is ok to trim them but you MUST use a brand new blade or very sharp scalpel.
After trimming to achieve the original result you can apply a thin layer of glue or clear nail varnish to the sides but it is not necessary but it will help the tip for splitting.

        Thanks guys.

It's on and trimmed in the usual fashion ( surgical blade) and looking forward to playing tomorrow evening.

Being a blue diamond user for many years I'm excited to to try this one out.

Played 1/2 a dozen frames Sunday evening with it and I must say I was impressed.

Im not a great player (40 breaker on a good day) but the tip felt good from the first stroke of the cue ball. Nice feel and very grippy as I was over screwing on most shots but soon got used to it.

Im definately a convert although I may try the hard next depending on how this one beds in.

Best £5 ive spent on snooker in a long while
