  • My new Trevor White Cue - Pics and Review

Right, first things first, the specs of my cue are as follows:
58 inches long, weighs 18.84oz, tip 9.5mm, 30mm butt end
Design: 4 large splices in wild olivewood, with blue and purple veneers + 1 single front facing splice in purple hart with blue and purple veneers.
In case the name and the design dont give it away, I support West Ham and this is why I have had the cue designed this way.

Couldnt get a great pic of the shaft, will try take some better pics 2mo at the snooker hall....

Right, tried the cue out last night as soon as I had finished dinner etc I went straight round. Tried the tip that Trevor had put on, but being a massive lover of Talisman tips now, I immediately changed it and put a Talisman S on there.
Right from the very first shot, the cue felt so smooth, glides through the bridge hand so perfectly. The shaft has a very pronounced grain on it, the arrows/chevrons whatever u call em, are much darker than the ones on my John Parris cue and it is taking me a while to get used to that, although I am confident that actually using these to aim will help my game in the long run.
This is the first one piece cue I have owned/used and I didnt really know what to expect after using a 3/4 cue for so long. The feel of the cue is amazing! It is very solid on impact, gives great feedback.
I have also switched from 9mm to 9.5mm and I found that my cueing over distance was a little better and I am hoping that this will help me gain more consistency in my game.
As for the look of the cue, the splicing on the cue is absolutely brilliant! I hope the pics show this. The design is perfect for me and Trevor helped me with this when I first spoke to him on the phone also. I know not all of you will like the design, but its my cue and I love it!
So all in all I am extremely pleased with the cue, and definitely glad I got it from Trevor. (not saying others wouldnt have done a good job too)

Throughout the process, Trevor has been extremely helpful, even though he prob got fed up of my emails! lol.
The cue has arrived well before I was expecting it, so I consider myself extremely lucky, as many of you will know.
Even since receiving the cue, have had a few emails from Trevor to make sure I am entirely happy with the cue etc.
I must say, not only is he excellent as making the cues, but the customer service from Trevor is superb!
I would definitely recommend Trevor to absolutely anybody looking for a new cue, as do so many other people on here.

Anyways, its getting late, I been up since early this morning, and I am probably wafflin on a bit so I will leave it at that, may edit bits here n there slightly when I read it back a couple of times lol

Awesome cue! Like the idea of the colours for West Ham... I hope they keep Zola, he's a great coach... just need some time and some more $$$'s.

Whufcarl Lovely cue. Looks like the file size on some of your photos is too big. There's a limit. You need to re-size the file but I don't know how to do this. I'm sure other members will help you out.

Whufcarl you can resize/resample images with some free programmes (I use Irfanview). They are quite basic, but can do the job.
