Neil, its not going to be blue and white, I was only kidding. its going to be black and white and has no connection with football, but I'm sure a newcastle fan might like it

Right, 3 sessions with the cue under my belt, bit of an updated review of the cue...
Am really adapting to the darker grain (than my old JP) on the cue, and finding it is now starting to help me. At first, I didnt really like this to be honest, found it offputting and didnt think it really suited me. Now I am finding it is helping with my alignment and helping me check I am cueing straight, my playing partner commented today on how good my cueing was.
The cue is very solid, and I am finding that although my old JP cue had a 9mm tip, I am generating more spin and better cue power with the 9.5mm tip on my TW cue. I dont know whether this is cos the shaft is thicker and therefore got a more solid contact, but I am definately getting more screwback from distance than ever before. When I say distance, I'm talking 6ft+ gap between the balls, and I am managing to get the cueball back same kind of distance as I am playing from, sometimes more. I know to some people this isnt much, but someone of my standard and the standard of table I am playing on, this is pretty good.
My cueing over distance has been better due to the increase from 9mm to 9.5mm tip size. I am cueing a lot straighter, and seem to be getting through the ball better.
The butt is bigger than my old cue also, and I am finding this to be a lot better for me as I have fairly big hands and it feels so comfortable.
I guess the thing I am learning is, such minor changes, 0.5mm, are making such a big change to my game.
All in all, this cue is definitely the best I have owned, not to say that my others werent good, but I am quickly falling in love with this cue.
Fingers crossed, this will be the cue that helps me beat my biggest break!

                    Carl ,

I had the same experience with my TW . Can generate so much more spin and action with the cue ball . It must be the shaft as i'm using the same tip size as my previous cue .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Like I said, I'm using a bigger tip so didn't expect to get as much. Still using same tips, talisman s, so must be that the shaft is just better through impact
