These look OK but.......
I wouldn't touch any cues from an unknown name!
Chances are that they turn out to be crap, I'd buy an old second hand cue off ebay first!
Or get one from a recognized make, "the Teach" runs billiard boutique from the banner he might cut you a good deal. I believe he's offering members a discount at the mo!
Yep that is right members get 10% off until end of august, however this cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Co-incidentally all Peradon Cues are 15% off until end of August also. This means a brand new brand name Peradon for as little as £35.69 + delivery an absolute bargain!
Stay well away from JX on ebay in my opinion.
I bought a "genuine leather case" from a user called Snookerma recently and ended up sending it back, with the fake cue, because it simply wasn't what they claimed it to be. JX is selling more or less the same goods - I have a feeling it's the same seller under a different guise.
hi i bought 6 jx cues for £1 each plus £15 p+p sold them to friends at no profit with the idea the cases were worth more than i paid for package
got mixture of 1/2 and 3/4 cues with mini but they where fine enought quality but i want something a bit more substantial but if you can bid and get for the price i did i would recommend trying one
Andy
i am a chinese and jx is chinese cue...
but i personally would recommend you not to get one...
i have tried a few...
obviously they got the basic skills to make cues... (as if they were furniture...?)
but it's the quality of the raw materials and the details of the cue that would dissatisfy u...
this is a common problem in chinese cues...
to me, the one credible chinese cue at the moment is LK.T!!!
he was a very experienced carpenter...
great source of material (shaft)...
turn wood into art~
heard tht another brand called D.I.K. is quite good as well~
stay away from unknown brands as well...
my friend got a cue from ebay... it came with painted splices...
played even worse than a broom stick...
it's just a cue-like object...

You have made some very good point, with a touch of great humor.
With the LK.T, I went to their web site and could not really have a close up on their cues. They seem to have some kind of special joint.
JX is totally rubbish, they produce sticks, not cues
Lk.T was established by a guy from Hong Kong, who can produce very nice snooker cues, but for more than 500 GBP, i prefer a John Parris Ultimate for that money.
DI.K is made by this manufacturer http://www.kdcue.com/en/index.php
some of them are ok, some are ****, but you can not get a qualified one with less than 150 GBP, make no sense to buy
Just one simple principle, if you are willing to pay over 200-300quids, you can get a cue with good craftsmanship.
If you can afford only 100 quid or so, whatever JX or diamond , are available but with bad craftsmanship.
Both cues can produce good play results for a good player.
I sold a ebay JX cue to a local club player and he does not know it was JX as the badge was broken, and made a break of 117 in a league match. I could not even make a 50 with it. It the skills required really.
