  • My new H&O 094

Waited for almost 2 years, but well worth the wait.

Robert made me another shorter but for my confined room, what a great gesture.

The cue finish and playability are the best I've ever played.

    Enjoy the pics!

The darker maple is my older cue, which I have been using it for many years.

Great pics! Did you request the badge to be placed at the end of the butt, instead of the face? I've been toying with the idea of trying out a totally rounded butt. Have you always used that style, or changed from a flat?

What wood is used for the lower splices?

                      Hi,

Yes I specifically asked the badge to be installed at the bottom of the cues as I have always like that style.

I have been using round butt cues for more than ten years now. The best advantage is you won't hit the cue ball with the same spot of the cue tip all the time.

The butt material is birds eye maple.

                        Hi Ted,
Do you need to use mini butt and extensions when you play?
Do you find it inconvenient that you cannot insert a mini into your cue?
                        Thank you.

I hate it myself when the cue is not long enough esp when using the rest.
That's why i always ensure that the cue has a butt joint for the attachment of a mini butt or long extension.

I remember was I started snooker about 15-17 yrs ago, there was no such thing as mini butt.

I am very well suited without one.

Perhaps it may help improve your cue ball positioning without having the luxury of a mini butt.

I see. Watching Hendry winning all the titles without any SD socket at the butt end of his cue kind of confirms what you believe.
Did Robert also build you a longer butt in which you can screw into your joint?
