just fitted a Mike Wooldridge tip, easy to shape, holds chalk well and seems to be ok.
    Holds shape too.

I think I would like to try a layered next but I like the softer feel to a tip, any suggestions?
    Thanks

What about a talisman soft or kamui , i think they are two of the softest layered tips .

I have been trying Mike Wooldrigde tips the past 3months only thing is with them is when i use deep screw sometimes i miss cue. Slight roughing of the tip stops this all in all a good tip.

Try the uk 8 ball website for kamui
but the snooker ones are 11mm and
              medium flavour
the softs are 14mm but because the
11s have 6 layers they feel about the
              same
just my opinion but don't pay extra for
the blacks the tans are far better
