  • Selby cue and tip

Do any of you guys know what kind of cue and tip Mark Selby uses?
    Thanks!

I searched for this and couldn't really find any answer.

Again don't know about the tip but it's a Stamford
ebony with four lower splices of stripy ebony
it's quite subtle so you can hardly see them

Does anyone have a photo of Selby's cue. I've seen it yesterday on tv, the splices were slightly lighter in colour than the dark ebony. Sure that it is stripy ebony? It looked very nice.

i was at his match yesterday on had a bit of an oggle at it. At first glance it just looks like a plain rosewood (?) butt, but it does seem to have 4 lower splices of a similar wood? maybe has been extended at some point.

Paul Roberts at Stamford on other post said it has 4 macassar ebony splices over thin blue veneers, nothing about extending it though.

From what I remember the cue is made out of macassar ebony for the splicings with 4 black veneers separating between the lower and the upper splicings.

Hmmm so in last few posts we have blue, then plum, and now black veneers

The veneers are definitely not black, they are very thin and slightly lighter colorwise than the splicings.
