Hi.. can the ash wood treated with 95%+ Alcohol and then after that use a dry cloth buff dry immediately, then put oil and wax? any experience here?

Yes!you can clean the cue with Alcohol 95%(don't use below 95%)before using oil or wax.

Thanks for yr sharing, anyway if i apply alcohol on the wood, should i need to wipe it off immediately with dry cloth or just leave it?

I am not sure if its true, alcohol can cause splitting or cracks in wood

Is it because almost pure alcohol evaporates very quickly so wont wet the wood (or did i dream that up ?)

it will also dry the wood can stain the wood and will remove any finish - i use alcohol to strip cues!

Wood needs a certain amount of moisture content to be usable. Start using something that will draw out the moisture and you will end up with a very sick cue.

In the first place, can u pls explain why the need for using alcohol on the cue.
If u are just cleaning the shaft, plain water will do. At most, use a little bit of detergent to get rid of the chalk stain.
If u wana get it glossy, just apply oil then bluff it after dry.

Is because the shaft are very very dirty.

Then just use a rag, wet it with water n alittle bit of detergent.
Clean the cue throughly then lay it with a coal of cue oil.
