Trouble is doing it yourself, if your just bending them in the opposite way to the bend, they are likely to just spring back to where they were - not sure if the experts will let on to you the correct way - have to wait and see
Actually 4 of those cues have now been sold off, having to streamline my collection untill more funds available (ie a job)
Bike does look nice when its all clean and sparkly

how do you store the cues, jrc750? Do you keep them in a snooker rack or in cases?

Half and half, got a 10 cue rack (less than £6 on ebay )
and 2 cheap (less than £20) one piece cue cases that each hold 2 cues - i so far havn't given in to temptation to spend a lot on a case

Do you mean the one with the green veneer ? its a Welshpool Trading cue, called the Welsh Dragon - sadly no longer made - there is one last cue by the company on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UK-HANDMADE-SN...item1c12d5ed3f Plain ebony butt is a JP Classic, Multi spliced maple cue is a Mastercue M7, and the square badge one is a Burwat Champion

I agree it is better to take it to a cue doctor.
Nice picture of your table, thanks for sharing.

I have straightened many cues in my time and just bending them, will most likely result in them springing back.
You can try applying heat to the bend and that might work, but i have often found that the only way to get a cue straight and keep it straight is to steam bend it and apply heat to dry it out.
This is not easy and it will require the cue to be re-finished after, nor should it be attempted to an expensive cue at first attempt. Try it on an old or cheap cue at first but do be very very careful.
This is only my suggestion and others might disagree.
