    Bro,

If you have no idea what a JP postal code cue looks like, just take a close look at my avatar. That is a JP postal code which indicates his actual address.

As for whether is there a JP classic cue with numbering like the JP ultimate, nope there is none as I have checked with John parris when I chance upon this cue several months back. It is most likely a fake JP cue made in Thailand or china as a classic is simply a plain ebony butt cue without as extra splicing.

Just my chance to throw down some "Postal Code" fanboyism...
A British mate here in Toronto has one.
He's owned it for 22 years.
Bought it from a pro who bought it from a legend, Alex.
        So it's old.
Of course it has a ever so slight bend, luckily downward not sideways.
The ferrule has been replaced many times so the cue has been shortened
        by about 3".
Still, the balance point is about 17.5" and weighs, by guesstimate 18.75 oz.
Butt feels a touch narrow at 29 but perfect.
For me, it is without question the best solid feeling and hitting cue in the history of ever.

I even heard my mate, Golum, whisper to his JP Postal Code... "My Precioussssss"!!!

Old parris cues are very good feel, i'm very like it, especially those very brown shaft, the color of the ash wood looks like red mix with golden ash brown color , very matured, it's not that kind of dyed wood, it's looks very naturally, the one i saw it is, more than 20 years old jpu 1st batch.

If you are looking for such a JP cue, i think you have hit the jackpot!!!!

Dan Shelton have a JP professional which fits your description of what type of ash shaft you like very much. It should be very old, otherwise i doubt the shaft will be able to age to such a colour.

the old post codes and numbered handmade ones are always popular - these days a good one will fetch serious money!
