there are alot of makers as good if not better than parris. depends on what your ordering though. if your getting a paragon or ultimate then you cant go far wrong but if your ordering 1 from his standard range ie classic, superior, elite and so on i would look elsewhere you can get alot more for your money.

i have owned a few parris cues over the years all good cues including a ultimate which was in a different class to his standard range cues but you have to pay alot more for 1. i have started to have my cues made by robin cook. robin makes all his cues to order each time so each one is custom made and different i dont think he as a standard range of cues. also t white he also makes cues to order and in my opinion both make there cues to parris ultimate standards.

robin cook is currently making me a new cue i ordered a plain ebony and ash 1 piece made to my specs. some makers charge extra for changing specs from there standard range on the parris web site all is cues have a standard spec i am not sure but i think he charges to change these i know others do. also i asked him for a nice piece of ash with a certain grain this is also something other cue makers charge alot extra for. i am not going to state how much robin is charging me for my cue you will have to ring him and get a quote but he is very reasonable and his cues are as good as any you can buy. other cue makes you can try are mike wooldridge, dave coutts, hunt and osborne, try googling handmade snooker cues and see what comes up.

I'm not sure about Robin Cook, but Trevor White has a current waiting time of up to 28 weeks at the moment.

              Hi

The waiting time is a long time at the moment with most makers due to how busy we are and for settlement of wood.

if you want to call me i have a about 10 to 14 week waiting time

I'm sure i can help you

              Cheers Reg
