its me selling it by the way, i didnt want to influence your buying of the cue or not, but yes you could have paid later tonight or even tomorrow no problem. Get your dad to sort out an account (and give you the password )
BUT dont get carried away - set a budget and stick to it

Coincidence - I didnt check the username on ebay just did a quick search on decent cues for the youth!

That would IMO have been a more than ideal beginners cue.

In my day back in the 80's everyone started on a 2 piece machine spliced rileys generic cue with their favourite players name stuck on it. And to be fair we all played well with them.

That hand spliced Powerglide would have been ideal at that price with the case better than anything in the same price bracket new.

Bets thing to do is not get to fussed with machine v's hand spliced, fancy inlays etc. Those things are for people with money and do not pot balls.

Hope you find what you want.

Must be somebody out there got a decent £40 cue they could let Darren have?
Darren Might be worth popping into your local snooker club and making a few enquiries. Might be someone selling on a decent cue.

Darren have a look at my Ebay listing they start at £35 for a bundle of 5 cues , if you are lucky enough to get a bundle for that , you have 5 cues to have a go at , find one or two that are suited to you out of this batch , then sell the rest on .
at least you have 5 choices .
they are vinatge one piece cue's so have a collector status as well as use for playing , most are in good condition , some require new tips and abit of loving care as regards oiling or waxing them , some people wire wool old cue's some say leave them as they are , the choice is youres , to customise the cue to youre likeing .
some are not so straight as others , but thats the good part of buying a bundle have a sort out keep what suits you and sell the rest on .
none are hand spliced , but thats snobbery in my eyes , just like people say the round turned leg table is better than a sqaure leg one , its all cosmetic , you do not look at the spliceing when you take youre shot . and you certainly cannot look at the legs when bent over a table

              any way item

look at my other listings too .

Nice cues there, can see you getting a lot of interest with those.

I've got an Aeon cue I'd let go for £40, handspliced ebony/ash 58" 17.5oz 10mm tip with long extension. Not 100% straight but not noticable
