As for the Cue Maker his name is Bernard Laurin and he has his own website at www.baguettelaurin.com his cues are of the same model as Marcel Jacques but not as good as Marcel Jacques however they play pretty good.

As for the other person that you mentioned Alain Gendron i do not know this person but will find out for you

By the way i saw your work and you make very good Snooker Cues that is what Terry Davidson tells me cheers Leonard
If it was from Pete Tascarella then I hate to say this but you were right--you have really missed out.
Terry has been a real class act. I am very glad to be able to build him the cue he is using now. It has been a real pleasure dealing with him.
There are a lot of great cue makers around. I have learned a lot from watching and using their fine works. I am just happy to be building something I love to be honest.
I watched the video in the link you sent me of Bernard, and it is quite interesting. Thank you.:-)

Got my first cue in 1969.......it was ancient then and is now well over 100 years old.......and I still have it!! Since then I must have owned well over 100 cues, some spectacular, others not so good Never played as good with any of them as I did with the cue that I got in 1969 so am playing with that at the moment and thats the only cue that I own right now......however...........

................Funnily enough I am receiving a new cue tomorrow so can't wait to try it out, used to belong to Dominic Dale so must be a 'player'!!

                  Oldgit :snooker:

Hi Mate....it's a loverly cue and it plays very well,it has a good feel and hits the ball firmly and with a positive contact,,,,if I manage to play the shot well??? I am sure in the hands of a better player than me it could be Great!!!
These cues are made here in Victoria as I guess you know.

ummm not that im aware of. theres mil in geelong who makes ivory league cues. theres peter hanley in NSW who makes cues, and zaks. theyre more or less the 3 main ones in australia. and theres a handful of smaller businesses that have their own branded cues, but is more or less overpriced rubbish. Ill have to look into it for u.

Ivory League cues are of exceptional craftsmanship, but from time to time, you get one that doesnt hit that well, or feels a bit dead. Peter hanleys cues, good to play with, but the craftsmanship can be a bit better. finish too. and ive never had the chance to play with a zaks cue. but hopefully thatll change in time!
