      montrealer:

Although the 147 club is good, the tables are a little tight for most players as Stephane insists they should be tighter than template.

The BCE tables at the Montreal Snooker Club have good pockets and are very close to template although when I was there last year they played a little slow. I did talk to the owner about blocking them every second day or so and maybe ironing them once a week.

Surely there are more 'salon de billards' in Montreal outside of these two and the Billard Au Coin? Montreal has always had a lively snooker scene with a lot of good players.

See you at the Montreal Snooker Club in early December for the Robert Paquette Invitational. I just hope I don't hit Alain first match or even Alberto, who seems to have my number
