I ordered a pearwood shafted cue from Dan way back before Sept/10 and paid a 50% deposit. Since then I've had one email conversation with him, in February I believe and he said he was setting up a new workshop in his parents garage (maybe? - can't remember) and he would be completing my cue shortly.

Since then I've heard nothing and since I'm coming up on a year now I'm getting a little anxious. I would appreciate any news anyone can get or even better, a posting on here by Dan letting all his customers know where he's at and if he intends in filling and shipping all his back orders.

that's not how you do it - your opening lines always go alone the lines of 'hows your mum, they are very steep her stairs, etc etc'

Like a previous poster has already said, I got lucky. At one point I was contemplating getting one of his cues. Glad I stayed away!

The sad thing with this is now I would never give another new cue maker a chance after this experience and I would advise anybody thinking of getting a cue made to stick with the guys who have already built a solid reputation.

I cant believe I never stuck to the likes of Trevor, Robin, Mike & Coutts like I have always done in the past
