Sanman,
If you keep spending your money and time searching for cues but only bring you disappointment instead of joy, what's thepoint for doing so? Snooker is no fun to you anymore.
I seldom change cue myself but just got a decent one three months ago. I got my highest and second highest break with it and I'm over the moon now.

the only mistakes were andy travis( i must say that twenty years of cue maing has not taught him much and he did not have the decency to sort out my issues)
the other mistake was Jianying
i do have at least 10 good to excellent cues at the moment
the moment i am able to find a good one piece I would sell of all except for My two favourite 3/4 UT cues and that new one piece.
As for pics I would post some on monday as i no longer have those cues and I need to get hold of the new owners

I see that the knocker "sanman" highest break is 57 or such, I guess that gives him the credentials to criticize my original statement.
Do not be distracted by the price, I have never heard of Jian Ying before buying it so I really didn't know what to expect. What I can say is, I received a good quality multi-spliced handmade cue for a very reasonable price.

I was waiting for you to open your loud mouth, via your arthritic fingers of course. You seem that way inclined by your very nature.
Let me properly introduce you to the forum. Ladies and gentleman may I present you to Blinky88 who to the world of snooker is er er er…… Hmmm
What is he?
Nobody significant really, because if he was he would not have to blow his trumpet here. Yah yah you played some matches against some good players we can all relate to but heres the thing no one here seems to know you. And frankly not too many care. Myself included.
You have the audacity to call me a knocker and furthermore to to rasie doubt over my creadentials to question your appraisal of jian ying cues. May I ask how many cues you have owned in your life time. Not too many I would assume judging from your comments in other posts. So having never owned a good enough cue you now find think yourself the “EXPERT” to give advice on cues. Maybe that’s why you never became a top snooker player. Because you were too tight to spend on a decent cue. Because as most people would tell you here there is a world of difference between a good cue and a bad cue. But if we had to extrapolate your rationale then all one would need to play snooker is a broom stick with a tip on it.
As for my 57 break it is now 72 and the reason for that is that in South Africa it is very difficult t find a good snooker hall with champion standard table. I play snooker once in a while ( like evry six months). This is 8 ball country. Of course if you think I don’t know how to hold cue get you @ss on an 8ball table and I will educate you.
Finally if you like JY cues so much then whoopee for you. You can sit on it for all I care. God knows its not not enough for you.
Again please wait for photos and then judge my assessment of these cues. Maybe there are some good JY cues out there but all I am saying is that they sent me cr@p

just because he could hold a cue straight once upon a time according to hime means that he is an authority on cues. His logic just like him though is flawed because he has not used an expansive amount of good cues extensively to know the difference

After saying I just bought one I was immediately attacked asking what do I know about cues and I answered that. Then a very personal attack by sanman who claims to have bought a dozen of them and they were all crap, I find that very hard to believe, if fact, just about every comment made by you I find hard to believe.
As for Ben, who asked a question about the cue maker, you will need sort out what you can from statements on this thread, good luck.
and sanman, if you are ever in Australia be sure look me up and I'll show you my arthritic fingers.
Also try not to be such an expert in an area you don't know everything on.
As for being crap wait till monday till you see the pics you 2 by twice fourflusher.

i am open to knowledge. I wil learn til i drop. That being said no 1 starts out attacking sum1 character lest provoke. U did call me a knocker. By that u implied that my character was lacking. This is not the 1st thread that u hav gone on the offensive because of a difference of opinion. Bitter to swallow your own medicine huh. U provoked me. Jian ying in my opinion is rubbish. That is my opinion from 1st hand experience. Pics wil follow monday to confirm
